There are three premises with regard to this composition. First, because there are violin, viola, and cello parts of varying abilities, all the students in the string class are able to participate. Secondly, Г¬The Bouncing Bow" confronts a bowing technique that is commonly used by string players. The more advanced string students who can attempt this technique are able to use it in a concert work. Third, this work can be used in the classroom, along with any method book, or in a concert setting, allowing students of varying abilities to participate.
