Passacaglia in C Minor

Saxophone quartet, soprano, alto, tenor, baritone. A major work for the saxophone quartet. One of the hallmark works for organ by Bach. The theme, "borrowed" from D. Buxtehude, is repeated 81 times. The Passacaglia immediately proceeds into a fugue, continually restating and improvising on the original theme to the highest possible degree.
