Dowland Suite is a collection of four pieces for clarinet choir. The Suite offers its players an unusual experience in the music of the early 1600’s. Technical requirements for this piece call for good range with clarinet 1, and strong rhythmic skill from all players. For contest repeats or movments can be omitted for a shorter performance.
Selections include The King of Demark’s Galliard, Lachrimae Antiquae, Mr. John Langton’s Pavan, and Sir Henry Umpton’s Funeral.
